Bird Photographs
A selection of photos of garden birds.
This is a project I have wanted to do for many years but never had the time.
I have long believed that you can obtain high quality images upto at least 18"x12" using nothing more than a good quality compact camera, and for these shots (and quite a few others on my site) I used a Panasonic TZ7. The one thing I know for certain is that when I started taking photographs over 30 years ago my main interest was wildlife photography and I would have paid anything for a camera that could do what the TZ7 can do - all for about £300 in todays money - fantastic!!
So I hope that this portfolio proves that you don't NEED a DSLR, - sure it makes life easier, but it isn't necessary.
Hopefully I'll be adding more subjects in the future so please keep looking. Dave
